Flying Start Speed & Agility Program
The Field Sports speed & agility program is meant to enhance participants speed and agility over a period of time. Participants will be able to evaluate their own physical condition throughout the course as well as view their progress, develop mental and physical toughness, and enhance running form and technique. Each program includes twelve one-hour sessions over 6 weeks, a t-shirt and a progress report at the end of the program. All Divisions are coed. There will be some competitive situations.
Sprint Days The sprinting days consist of warm up, specific drills for sprinting technique and a sprint work out.
Agility Days The agility days will consist of warm up, 4 rotating stations for agility drills.

Instructor: Pepe’ Pearson begins his 3rd year as a program instructor for the football and speed & agility programs at Field Sports. Pepe was a standout tailback for Ohio State University from 1994 through 1998 and helped the Buckeyes to four bowl games including a 1996 Rose Bowl victory. A four-year letterwinner and fifth all-time leader in rushing yards at Ohio State, Pepe gained 1,486 yards and had 17 touchdowns on 299 carries his junior year and was selected All-Big Ten and team MVP. After completing his college career, Pearson played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers. He also played in the NFL European League where he won a 2001 World Bowl Championship scoring the game winning touchdown. Currently, Pepe is the running backs coach at Ohio Dominican University.
