Welcome to the Lacrosse Programs at Field Sports @ SportsOhio! Our mission is to provide you and your family a fun, healthy and enjoyable experience. Below are descriptions of the different types of Lacrosse activities we offer. 


New this Winter!
Want to play in one of our youth lacrosse leagues but also want extra instruction?  You're in luck!  New to Field Sports is the League & Academy Combo!  Now, players can participate in a youth lacrosse league and a youth lacrosse clinic at a reduced cost.  For example, you can participate in the Co-ed Shooters Clinic and take the skills you've learned to the 8U or 11U Lacrosse League.  To register, click on the red registration button below.  For more information, call our Youth Program Coordinator, Paul Springer, at 614-791-7849.

Youth Lacrosse Leagues 

Take the skills you've learned in the Shooters and Laxers clinics and apply them to the game!  Register individually or as a team.  The first 2 weeks will consist of hour-long practices followed by 6 weeks of games.  Games will be played for 1 hour within the given time range.  League schedule, rosters, and rules will be sent to all participants prior to the start of the league.  Registrations are due no later than 1 week prior to the start of the season.  Each participant will receive a Field Sports uniform.  Fee:  $140/player or $960/team.Winter 2015 League

Instructional Clinics 

Field Sports offers year-round youth lacrosse clinics for players of all skill levels.  Below you will find more information about each of our lacrosse clinics.

Co-ed Shooters Clinic

The Shooters Clinic is designed for the beginner lacrosse player.  The basic fundamentals of passing, catching, and stick-handling will be taught in a fun, non-contact atmosphere.  Boys will need a stick, helmet, shoulder pads, gloves, and a mouth guard.  Girls will need a stick, eye protection, and a mouth guard.  Fee:  $140.

Jr. Laxers Clinic  

The Jr. Laxers Clinic is designed for the intermediate lacrosse player.  The skills taught in the Shooters Clinic will be presented in a more advanced manner.  More in-depth offensive and defensive techniques and strategies will be introduced.  Boys will be required to wear a helmet, shoulder pads, gloves, and a mouth guard.  Girls will need a stick, eye protection, and a mouth guard.  Fee:  $140.

Advanced Laxers Clinic  

The Advanced Laxers Clinic is an 8-week clinic that is designed for the experienced lacrosse player who is trying to take his/her game to the next level.  If you are trying to fine tune your skills to try out for your middle school or high school team, this is the clinic for you.   Fee:  $140.

Lacrosse Camps

Field Sports offers youth lacrosse camps for boys and girls ages 6-14 during winter break, spring break, and the summer.  Winter and Spring Break camps are three straight days of 3-hour practices where players are instructed the fundamentals of the game.  Summer lacrosse camps are Monday-Friday from 9am-12pm each day.  All Field Sports lacrosse camps offer a low player-to-coach ratio to maximize individual instruction.  Below are dates of the upcoming Lacrosse Camps:
